Salary Range DOE: $50,000–$60,000 annually, plus a 2% 401(k) employer match, monthly healthcare stipend, and unlimited PTO
Employment Type: Year-round, full-time salaried position based primarily on-site, with flexibility for occasional remote work

Position Overview
The Development & Partnerships Specialist plays a key role in advancing the mission and long-term sustainability of Downtown Driggs Association. This position leads implementation of the organization’s fundraising strategy, including donor stewardship, grant management, and business sponsorship development. Working closely with the Executive Director and Events & Outreach Manager, the Development & Partnerships Specialist will help build and maintain a strong pipeline of philanthropic support while strengthening partnerships that enhance the vitality of downtown Driggs and the broader Teton Valley community.
Primary Responsibilities
Development & Fundraising
• Create and implement DDA’s annual Development Plan and fundraising strategy in partnership with Executive Director
• Manage and cultivate a portfolio of individual donors while leading donor cultivation and stewardship efforts through regular meetings, communications, and engagement opportunities
• Conduct donor research and prospect identification to expand DDA’s funding pipeline
• Manage two major annual fundraising campaigns (Tin Cup and Year-End Campaign)
• Track fundraising performance and progress toward annual revenue goals
Grant Management
• Research, write, and manage reporting for a portfolio of local, state, and federal grants
• Identify new grant opportunities aligned with DDA programs and strategic priorities
• Maintain grant calendar, deadlines, reporting requirements, and funder relationships
Development Systems
• Maintain and manage donor database (Salesforce), including gift entry, donor records, reporting, and pipeline tracking
• Generate fundraising reports to support strategy and board reporting
• Manage stewardship calendar and ensure timely donor acknowledgments and tax receipts
• Reconcile fundraising revenue monthly with DDA’s bookkeeper
Business & Community Partnerships
• Cultivate strong relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community partners
• Manage and grow DDA’s business sponsorship program and associated collateral
• Organize annual business networking events supporting downtown engagement
• Maintain and update business listings on DDA and Welcome to Teton Valley websites
Communications & Marketing
• Support digital and print communications promoting DDA programs, events, and fundraising initiatives
• Produce a monthly business e-newsletter highlighting DDA programs, grants, and business resources
• Manage local business marketing displays at the Teton Valley Welcome Center
• Coordinate updates and distribution of the annual Driggs Visitor Experience Guide
Qualifications
• Experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, grant writing, or related field
• Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft compelling grant proposals and donor communications
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with donors, businesses, and community partners
• Experience with donor databases or CRM systems (Salesforce or similar preferred)
• Highly organized with strong project management and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently and collaboratively
• Familiarity with digital communications and social media platforms
• Interest in community development, arts and culture, and small business vitality
• Enthusiasm for the mission of Downtown Driggs Association and the Teton Valley community
Work Schedule and Program Participation
This position averages 40 hours per week. All staff are expected to support DDA’s events and programs, including occasional evenings and weekends especially during peak season in January and July.
